Vanguardia Latina is a gathering of U.S. and Latin American Latino university students and young leaders for a forum and bilingual dialogue aimed at deepening the integral understanding of the American hemisphere. The event is sponsored by Espacio de Vinculación AC (EVAC), members of the U.S. Congress, and Televisa, a Mexican telecommunications company.23 Foreign Fulbrighters, nominated by IIE and LASPAU, will participate at this year’s event. Romy Hecht, Fulbrighter 2003 and an Environmental Design and Architecture major from Princeton University, Francisco Irarrazaval, Fulbrighter 2004 and Guillermo Rolando, Fulbrighter 2005 both Public Policy majors from Harvard University, will represent Chile.
